Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Palomar Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years of directly related RN experience in area of specialty - MS/Tele (Oncology). Community hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: Bachelor’s degree required.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week period, 1 must be a Saturday.

Floating Requirements: Float between campuses (Escondido and Poway).

Required Credentials: Must pass a Tele test to remain on assignment - 2 attempts only given

14 days maximum time off

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• ONS (Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider) or the alternative certification OCN
