ADAPP provides innovative and comprehensive programs focused on prevention, counseling, and education to address the use of alcohol and other substances.What You Will Own:Develop and implement long-term financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Oversee financial reporting and accounting processes in compliance with nonprofit GAAP standards.Ensure compliance with NYS Consolidated Fiscal Reporting System (CFRS), NYS Consolidated Budget Report (CBR), and state and federal grant regulations.Supervise administrative and operational areas, including human resources, IT, facilities, and vendor management.Collaborate with the Archdiocese of New York Department of Education Finance Department regarding cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships.Lead and mentor the finance and operations teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.Work with the Archdiocese risk management team to ensure appropriate insurance coverage.Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors and Finance & Audit Committee, presenting financial updates and insights.Evaluate and improve financial systems, automation, and operational processes to enhance efficiency.Skills You Will Bring to the Table:Strong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent judgment and problem-solving skillsStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsExceptional written, verbal, and presentation communicationAbility to manage multiple priorities and projectsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismProficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft ExcelNon-Negotiables:Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).Minimum 5 years of management experience in finance or operations.Experience working within a nonprofit organization.Knowledge of nonprofit financial regulations and compliance requirements.Experience with NYS CFRS, NYS CBR, and government grant reporting.Familiarity with QuickBooks and Lawson
