This position offers a fixed wage of $23.00 per hour. Enjoy a Monday - Friday workweek with a consistent schedule. Work with safe and reliable machinery. What You'll Do:
- Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.
- Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.
- Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
- Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.
- Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.
What We're Looking For:
- One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience.
- Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport products, load/unload trucks.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to work independently at times under pressure.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to read/comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, safety material, etc.
- Safe work record and stable work history.
