Work on this program takes place in Chantilly, VA and in various field offices throughout Northern VA (we cannot support remote work), and requires a TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance (acceptable to this customer).What You'll be OwningGRVTY is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. The Senior Developer will be supporting a backend development team focused primarily on middleware and backend services.What You Must HaveActive TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (acceptable to this customer)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degreeIntermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years), and possessing:Experience performing schema updatesSignificant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queriesSignificant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards workSignificant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimizationMinimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list)Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environmentWhat Would be Nice to HaveDemonstrated experience working with several AWS servicesDemonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUBPay Range: At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors—such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.
