Production Supervisor, 3rd Shift

As a Production Supervisor, 3rd Shift, you will oversee daily production activities at the PPG plant in Springdale, PA, ensuring volume, cost, and quality standards are met and that staff follows safe work practices. You will report to the Operations Manager and work a 3rd‑shift schedule Sunday‑Thursday from 10 PM–6:30 AM with weekend shift rotation. Responsibilities Responsible for process safety management and safe operation of equipment; directly accountable for personnel safety, quality, scheduling, and customer service issues related to production. Manage administrative tasks such as daily timekeeping, production records, log maintenance and label printing. Lead efforts to improve plant measurements and manufacturing operational metrics and serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting, problem resolution, and process improvement. Maintain housekeeping, training, emergency response, and plant management coverage. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred but required. 3+ years of production/manufacturing experience required. 6+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role preferred. Experience overseeing a small group of para‑professional staff in a highly transactional or repetitive process environment. PPG provides equal opportunity to all candidates and employees.
