About the Position

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: - BLS Provider certification - Neonatal Resuscitation certification - Advanced Life Support certification - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - 3 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service Description: This is a Level IV Client Designation facility. It consists of 26 Labor Delivery Recovery suites and 6 C-section suites. The facility has 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms and 15 monitored Antepartum rooms. It functions as an academic teaching service as well as a large private OB practice. The environment is high-risk and fast-paced, with over 500 deliveries per month. 24-hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage is provided. A Perinatal Transport Program is also in place. The Women’s Emergency Department serves patients from 16 weeks to 6 weeks postpartum. This department has a total of 14 beds. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
