Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Consultant for a Contract with a client in Spring House, PA. The ideal candidate will design and deliver endtoend research informatics and scientific workflow solutions to support biotech and R&D teams.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement endtoend scientific and research informatics workflows to support molecular biology and biotech R&D processes.
• Configure and support scientific software platforms such as ELNs and SaaS informatics tools (e.g., Benchling).
• Integrate research data workflows across systems to improve data capture, traceability, and usability.
• Collaborate with scientists, R&D teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver fitforpurpose solutions.
• Support adoption, training, and best practices for research informatics platforms.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and scientific users to ensure scalable, efficient workflow solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in research informatics, scientific software, or workflow solution roles.
• Strong domain knowledge in molecular biology/biotech R&D with handson experience using ELN or informatics SaaS platforms (Benchling preferred).
• Proven ability to design endtoend research data workflows and manage stakeholders across scientific and technical teams.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
