Network Lead Engineer

Salary: $115,000 - 183,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring at least 8 years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
• We have expert knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, along with complex datacenter switching designs including LACP, vPC, VDS, and tenant separation.
• We have experience integrating cloud networks across Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure, as well as connecting to public service providers like Workday and ServiceNow.
• We have worked with micro-segmentation environments such as Illumio and security platforms like Palo Alto Prisma.
• We have proven ability to configure and troubleshoot load balancers, including VIPs and SSL offloading, plus next-generation firewalls and certificate management for application integration.
• We are proficient with IPAM and infrastructure tools such as Infoblox, Micro Focus NNMi, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow.
• We communicate clearly and can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders while coordinating effectively across teams.
• We demonstrate strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and ownership of network stability and SLA performance.

• We serve as the top escalation contact for critical network incidents and resolve advanced routing, load balancing, and application connectivity issues.
• We partner with Server Administration, Solutions Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Application Development teams to support server builds, VLAN/VPC provisioning, and secure connectivity.
• We manage and maintain firewalls, load balancers, network fabrics such as Cisco and HP Synergy, and DDI services through Infoblox.
• We develop, document, and maintain network topologies, SOPs, and operational runbooks for incident response and monitoring.
• We support high availability, security, and performance across on-premise, cloud, and SaaS network environments.
