Driver Helper

Job Overview HF Foods Group, Inc. Primary Functions Driver Helper assists drivers who deliver goods to businesses and customers. As a driver helper, you will be responsible for all activities except the actual driving: loading and unloading items, contacting customers, collecting payments, keeping in touch with dispatcher or manager, doing delivery paperwork etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Loading and unloading company products Assisting drivers to find delivery locations Compiling accurate delivery records and reports Reporting all delivery-related issues to the supervisor Effectively communicating with clients and customers to resolve complaints Assisting with the unloading products from the truck on each delivery location Obtaining clients and customers’ signatures as an acknowledgement of having received the delivered products Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to Any other duties assigned by the management Skills and Qualifications Proven customer service experience is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work flexible hours Excellent communication skills Friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work with little supervision Physical Requirements Successfully passing the Human Performance Evaluation on Lift, Lift-Carry, Push-Pull, Climb, and Repetitive Posture. Move frequently, stand, walk, and sit Use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs Repetitive hand use, including pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs, reaching above shoulder Frequent bending and squatting required Safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area Education and Training High school or GED equivalent.
