Quality Production Supervisor

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Production Quality Supervisor to lead a team of 10-20 hourly employees in a manufacturing environment. This person will oversee daily quality operations, respond to production and quality issues, drive problem-solving efforts, communicate quality metrics, and ensure products meet established standards. The ideal candidate is a strong manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities.

• Review staffing, manpower, and carryover issues at the start of each shift.

• Lead quality discussions and address production concerns.

• Respond to quality escalations and resolve issues on the manufacturing floor.

• Coach and support a team of 10-20 hourly employees.

• Monitor quality metrics and communicate updates to leadership.

• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.

• Partner with production, management, and union personnel to improve operations.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of experience working in manufacturing environment

o Engineering, production, maintenance, etc.

- HS Diploma, although an Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant

- Strong ability to problem solve, make decisions quickly, have attention to detail, and strong communication/interpersonal skills - Automotive manufacturing experience

- Prior quality experience – quality engineering, quality control, inspection, etc.

- Strong root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
