Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Support a high-volume, hospital-based general surgery practice
• Broad-spectrum elective and acute care responsibilities
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques
• Operate at Dignity Health affiliate hospital (Mercy Hospital of Folsom) and outpatient surgery center offering:
• daVinci surgical systems
• Full range of surgical services
• Full complement of radiology services
• Surgical block time at our affiliate hospital and outpatient surgery center
• Robust and shared call (with 24/7 anesthesia coverage)

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Completion of an ACGME accredited training program
• MIS/Robotic fellowship training preferred
• Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
• Minimum of 2+ years post training general surgical experience preferred 
• Excellent clinical and surgical skills with a strong understanding of general surgery conditions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Pay Range
$365,000 - $370,000 /year
