As an Access Control Security Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with residents and guests, and use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
