AIT/Assistant Administrator

Casa Healthcare is seeking a motivated and dedicated Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in healthcare leadership and facility management while working directly under experienced administrators within our organization. As an AIT, you’ll participate in all aspects of facility operations — including personnel management, budgeting and finance, compliance, and strategic planning. This program is designed to prepare you for a future leadership role as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. What You’ll Do Work alongside senior administrators to learn the day-to-day operations of a healthcare facility Develop skills in team leadership, recruiting, training, and performance management Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting Learn to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations Collaborate with department heads to achieve organizational goals and improve quality of care Support special projects and other administrative initiatives as assigned What You’ll Bring Minimum of 2 years of previous long-term care nursing home experience (required) Currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator or completion of an AIT program (preferred but not required) Ability to work effectively under pressure and independently Strong interpersonal and communication skills — a true "people person" Computer literacy and comfort using administrative software systems Ability to pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check Why Casa Healthcare?
