Junior Management Consultant - Strategy & Market Analysis

About the Role Our client, a dynamic management consultancy, is seeking a motivated Junior Management Consultant to join their remote team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in strategy development and market analysis. You will support senior consultants by conducting research, analyzing market trends, and contributing to the formulation of client strategies. The position offers significant learning opportunities and exposure to a wide range of business challenges across various industries. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and possesses strong analytical and communication skills. You will be an integral part of project teams, contributing valuable insights and supporting the delivery of high-quality client solutions in a fully remote capacity, ideally based out of the Queenstown, Eastern Cape region or willing to work remotely if located elsewhere. Key Responsibilities Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend analysis. Gather and analyze data to support strategic planning and decision-making. Assist in the development of client presentations and reports. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategy formulation activities. Support senior consultants in project management tasks. Prepare summaries of research findings and data insights. Learn and apply consulting frameworks and methodologies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related quantitative field. 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships or entry-level roles). Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn about business strategy.
