Job Title

Travel RN – PCU / Multi-Trauma Unit (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Multi-Trauma Unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage complex trauma patients including those requiring chest tubes, tracheostomies, and suction
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, wound vacs, and specialty beds
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures including chest tube placement and bedside bronchoscopy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, physicians, and patient care technicians
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Experience caring for high-acuity trauma patients in a Level 1 trauma center environment
