Account Executive (Protein Diagnostics) - Texas

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Account Executive to drive revenue growth for protein diagnostic products across Texas and Oklahoma. The role involves securing new laboratory and health system business, managing key accounts, and implementing strategic sales plans in a remote field-based position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase test utilization and menu adoption within target organizations
- Convert competitor accounts and grow oncology and special protein market share through various contractual options
- Manage new customer instrument demonstrations and coordinate contract renewals
- Conduct customer business reviews to identify growth opportunities and optimize laboratory utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product implementations and instrument deployments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum three years' sales experience in laboratory, medical device, or diagnostics
- Capital sales experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth
- Strong strategic and complex selling capabilities with technical application knowledge
- Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and MS Office suite
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50-75% within territory
