Senior Accountant

We're partnering with a fast‑growing company in the greater Raleigh area to hire a Senior Accountant. Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Responsibilities Own key components of the monthly and year‑end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis. Prepare and review internal financial statements and related reporting. Maintain and update financial schedules: prepaid expenses, property taxes, interest accruals, and debt amortization. Manage fixed asset accounting: capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. Calculate inventory and COGS entries; partner with operations to analyze and resolve variances. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts. Support lease accounting and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards. Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls. Contribute to system upgrades and lead special projects at the request of finance leadership. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus). 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting. Solid understanding of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting. Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems. Strong communicator who enjoys working cross‑functionally and adapting in a fast‑moving environment. Prior experience in a manufacturing or product‑based company is preferred.
