Junior Full Stack Engineer
Location: Durham, NC, Remote till Covid
Duration: 12+ months
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 3-5 year candidates with a good baseline in core Java (multithreading is important, these are 2k transaction per second apps), understanding of cloud and docker/Kubernetes
- Hands-on development experience in Java Spring/Spring Boot, building Restful APIs and oAuth
- Solid understanding of Docker containers, Kubernetes and its optimization and orchestration of Pods is highly preferable.
- Involvement with CI/CD Pipeline and (knowledge of Jenkins is highly preferred)
- Knowledge in Kafka streaming and messaging patterns
- Knowledge of Cloud patterns and specifically AWS is preferred
- Unit testing Frameworks
- Basic knowledge in UI technologies like Angular, Javascript, etc.
- Multithreading high throughput, low latency processing experience is a huge plus
- Knowledge of SQL (Oracle preferred). Exposure to NoSQL databases is a huge plus (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra)
- Full exposure to DevOps, Agile and Scrum.
