The Four Seasons Resort L?na'i is looking for a Pastry Steward who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. What You'll Do

The Pastry Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the pastry kitchen, equipment, tools, and production areas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the pastry kitchen by cleaning equipment, production areas, floors, walls, sinks, drains, walk-ins, and storage areas in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Clean, sanitize, and properly store baking tools, sheet pans, mixing bowls, molds, pots, pans, utensils, and other pastry equipment using approved cleaning methods and dishwashing systems.
• Manage waste removal, utility cart sanitation, and overall organization of pastry work areas to support a clean, safe, and efficient production environment.
• Assist with the safe movement and transport of bulk ingredients, equipment, racks, and supplies to support daily pastry and bakery operations.
• Properly use, store, and label cleaning chemicals and materials while adhering to safety procedures, protective equipment requirements, and MSDS guidelines.
• Support the pastry team by maintaining a sanitary, organized, and operationally ready kitchen environment throughout all production periods.

What To Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States.
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card.
• Hawaii Driver's License and Abstract is required for this role.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts.
