Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store, and prepare other supplies. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Required- High School Diploma or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Required-None Preferred-6-month acute care and/or previous clinical experience

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Completion of a nursing assistant program Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) if American Red Cross, must obtain American Heart Association within 60-days of hire Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification within 90-days of hire/transfer REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, And ABILITIES: Preferred: Prior basic experience performing clerical or customer service duties with prior HUC training/experience in a clinical setting Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment Has effective interpersonal and communication skills Organization Description The Hospitals of Providence have faithfully been serving our community since 1902.
