SQL Server Database Administrator

Spruce Infotech

We are seeking a mid-level SQL Server DBA with hands-on experience in database creation, administration, and support . The role involves managing SQL Server environments, ensuring performance, availability, security, and reliable backup & recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases
Create and manage databases, schemas, tables, indexes, and stored procedures
Perform backups, restores, and routine maintenance activities
Monitor and tune database performance
Implement security, access control, and compliance standards
Support production issues and collaborate with development teams

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Hands-on database creation and administration
T-SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Backup & recovery, HA/DR exposure preferred

Good to Have:

Always On / Replication / Log Shipping
Azure SQL or AWS RDS exposure
