Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Rad/CT) - Multiple Schedules 225 S Bluff St, Winnebago, NE 68071, USA Job Description Posted Friday, April 17, 2026 at 5:00 AM Weekday Overnight 12-hour shifts Monday-Thursday Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities Demonstrate the Winnebago Tribe's core mission, vision, and values. Perform a variety of difficult radiographic examinations with thorough attention to detail. Apply knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and determine technical factors, including time, distance, kVp, and mAs, for optimal image quality. Calculate correct exposure parameters and control image quality through patient positioning, compression, and other factors; establish requirements for non‑standard examinations. Perform necessary quality control for assigned modalities and apply radiation protection standards. Operate digital radiology duties such as loading readers, pushing images to PACS, and electronically editing and annotating images. Maintain and troubleshoot cassette readers, PACS, and other radiology IT equipment. Conduct routine and complex examinations and be qualified in at least one modality in addition to general Radiology. Maintain all required training and experience to retain qualifications. Make sound, well‑informed decisions and commit to action even in uncertain situations. Maintain records of patient workload examinations, equipment, and radiation surveys; maintain database records of patients examined, examinations performed, views taken, and technical factors used. Represent the department in staff meetings to provide updates on new developments and recommend adoption by the clinic. Plan and coordinate work operations in the radiology department and requisition supplies to meet departmental needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Skills Bachelor's Degree in applicable field and 2 years of applicable experience, or combination of education and experience in radiology in lieu of bachelor's degree. Must be ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist with 2 years' experience post‑certification. Must be ARRT board certified in CT with 2 years' experience post‑certification. Cognitive Requirements Reading, writing, calculating. Reasoning/analysis. Works with minimal to no supervision. Language Requirements Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently. Must be able to continually and effectively employ professional verbal and written communications skills. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Maintain accreditation through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist by complying with rules and regulations set forth by the ARRT, including completion of the mandatory 24 continuing education units per biennium and any fees required to maintain credentials as certified Radiographer, Mammographer, and/or CT technologist for the duration of employment.
