Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is currently seeking a Buyer to join our team. This onsite position is based at our Reno, NV location. Relocation assistance is available to candidates currently residing within the US or PR. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 per year. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and business considerations. What You’ll Do The Buyer will manage the buying and planning of materials supporting the manufacturing team, performing extensive relationship management with vendors, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders such as operations, customer service, engineering, and new‑product program management. Essential Functions Supplier and Vendor Management : Negotiate pricing, terms, and mandatory SPIR documentation for price increases. Manage supplier transitions, oversee outsourced tooling, and monitor mandatory compliance with stocking agreements. Ensure mandatory PPAP processes before ordering. Inventory Planning and Materials Management : Produce monthly reports on steel product stocking positions, identify inventory risks with mandatory forecasting tools, optimize mandatory lean inventory, analyze mandatory forecast compliance, and support mandatory Mandated Mandated Mand.. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
