Journeyman Electrician | $25–$35/hr | BlueWorx Location: Choctaw, OK Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: $25–$35/hr (DOE) Schedule: Day Shift with overtime opportunities available BlueWorx is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support commercial electrical installation and service projects throughout the Oklahoma City area. This role is ideal for electricians with strong troubleshooting ability, installation experience, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Candidates should be comfortable working independently or alongside crews on commercial construction sites, remodels, and service calls. Position Overview The Journeyman Electrician will perform commercial electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to code requirements. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems Run conduit, pull wire, and install electrical panels and devices Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform service repairs Install lighting, controls, breakers, disconnects, and related components Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and job specifications Test electrical systems and verify proper operation Communicate with supervisors, contractors, and customers professionally Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license required Commercial electrical experience required Strong knowledge of: Commercial electrical systems NEC code requirements Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics Experience with service work and new commercial installations Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working on ladders and in active construction environments Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities available Long-term work opportunities Career growth potential Team-oriented work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
