Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a hybrid position and requires recurring onsite support twice a week. Additional onsite support may be required depending on the needs of the program. Locations include DC and Arlington VA.If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Daily Responsibilities:Oversee the implementation and ensure efficiency systems.Plan, perform and oversee inspection and testing of products to ensure the quality deliverables.Create, update and maintain software quality assurance's test plans, suites and scripts for the implementation of procedures to complete quality assurance testing.Exclusively responsible for finding the bugs in the softwareDevelop and implements procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports databases and applications.Develop, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. · Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing.Analyzes test cases and provide regular progress reports.Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.Complete test cases to complete input validation as well as data verificationComplete an assessment of how software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process.Ability to review, recommend improvements, on processes, procedures, and workflowsReporting to the Project Manager, regularly, with regard to the quality and condition of the testingResearching software products for feasibility and feature-setProvide guidance and support to other developers and QA.The requirements as stated above reflect industry standards.Required Experience: 8 years of professional experience in quality assurance is required.8 years related in the IT security field.A minimum of 8 (eight) years of professional experience in quality assurance is required.A minimum of 8 (eight) years related in the IT security field.Design, implements, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system and business requirements are met.Expert QA knowledge in order to evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.Conduct QA audits, reviews and analyzes data and documentation.Expert knowledge and experience with .NET environments and Azure DevOpsThe minimum experience and education requirements for this position are due to the complexity, at the project level, of the tasks at hand. xhyhwjd Required Degree: BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline OR Allowable Substitution: Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree.Required Clearance: Secret Clearance
