Responsibilities To provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling for pediatrics, adolescents, adults, older adults, and their significant others to cope with a multiplicity of social and emotional problems; provide information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems that are related to hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma. To provide case management & milieu management, complete psychosocial assessments, assist in the development and re-evaluation of treatment plans, work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and coordinate discharge planning. Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical records for each client during his/her length of stay. Education and Experience Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Clinical Counseling In states with a licensure requirement, required upon hire and maintained current in accordance with state regulations Minimum one (1) year inpatient or outpatient experience with emphasis in mental health care Experience working with diverse populations with a wide range of problems (e.g., death and dying, maternal and childcare, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Current BCLS certificate upon hire Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $28.00 to $43.62 per hour. Exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection and consider skills, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
