Accounting SpecialistAn Addison Group Client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join a growing team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their skill set, gain hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions, and contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced finance team.Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate payment in accordance with company policiesReconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding issues in a timely mannerManage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including purchase order matching, coding, and approval workflowsAssist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliationsMaintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standardsSupport the preparation of financial reports and assist with internal and external audits as neededCollaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and other departments to resolve billing and payment inquiriesIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes and workflowsExperience:2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role, with a strong focus on Accounts PayableSolid understanding of general accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software and experience with Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindsetAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
