Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut seeks a dynamic individual with a great attitude, desire to help others, and a commitment to excellent customer service to fill the role of Career Coach in our Career Center.

Full-time: 40hrs/week

Responsibilities:

• Guide Goodwill Career Center clients in best methods to land their desired job
• Assist Job Seekers with their Resumes and Cover Letters
• Teach individuals how to search and apply for open positions online
• Present Career Center workshops on various job search-related topics to clients
• Complete daily required documentation and administrative tasks

Position Requirements:

• Bilingual - Spanish Speaker Preferred
• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in psychology, education, special education, or related field preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Experience working with adults, preferably in vocational programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer operations.
• Able to engage adult learners, excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to other Career Center locations for coverage and training purposes.
• Able to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and be organized.
• Bilingual in Spanish/Creole preferred
