This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.

Pay Rate: $1,336.92 bi-weekly / $34,760.00 annual.

Current employees will be compensated in accordance with the DCF salary policy.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

This position performs a variety of office administrative support functions requiring independent judgment, research, collection of information/data, preparation and maintenance of reports, and maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information. Assists with special projects and provides guidance to the administration to ensure deadlines are met and/or targets are achieved.

Essential Functions: This is administrative work assisting a Program Administrator (PA) in the operations of a Customer Contact Center in Tampa, Florida . This employee independently researches, and gathers data and prepares reports. Initiates special projects and provides guidance to assist in achieving the goals of the service center. Performs a variety of complex secretarial and administrative support functions requiring independent judgement. Support office by organizing, moving, and stocking supplies or other materials as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

• Three (3) years of secretarial or clerical work experience required.
  • College education from an accredtited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience.
  • Vocational/technical training in the area of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for each year of the required work experience.
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent can substitute for one year of the required work experience.

  • Be able to lift objects up to 30 pounds to perform duties.

Preferences:

• Experience, education or training in recruitment and selection activities.
• Experience preparing meeting notes and agendas, making travel arrangements, purchasing supplies, tracking information, creating and maintaining calendar events, and supporting leadership positions.
• Knowledge of Department of Children & Families’ services related to child welfare, adult protection, economic self-sufficiency programs, or mental health treatment facilities direct care.
