Platform/DevOps EngineerLocation: Dallas, TX or Phoenix (Hybrid)Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in DevOps practices to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in implementing and managing DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies. This role is crucial for enhancing our software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient deployment, and maintaining high availability of our platforms.Mandatory Skills:Strong 3-5 yrs hands-on experience with Harness CI/CD and Release Orchestration (pipelines, stages, triggers, services, environments, connectors, and templates)Solid understanding of release management processes, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and control of software deployments across multiple environmentsExperience with DevOps practices and tooling (e.g., Git, artifact repositories, container registries, Kubernetes, cloud platforms) and integrating them into HarnessProficiency in automating deployments and environment configuration using scripts or Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation)Familiarity with observability, logging, and monitoring tools and how to integrate them for release verification and rollback decisionsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate releases across development, QA, operations, and business teamsPreferred Skills:Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practicesFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)Experience in database management and optimizationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field2-5 years of relevant experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering roleStrong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenIf you are passionate about DevOps and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
