KMG Hotels is seeking a high-energy, results-driven General Manager to lead the Candlewood Suites Olathe. At Candlewood Suites we look for people who are down to earth and friendly, who are considerate and reliable and who are always on hand when guests need us. This 85 Key suite hotel is ideally situated on South I-35 with good access to many major companies that have built along the I-35 corridor to be close to the BNSF Intermodal.

At KMG Hotels, we do things differently. As a fast-growing owner-operator, we empower our General Managers to focus on what matters: driving revenue, satisfying guests, and mentoring teams—not filling out endless reports for distant asset managers.

The Role
You will be the strategic leader of this premium select-service asset, responsible for maximizing market share and maintaining the high brand standards of the Wyndham Trademark Collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Leadership: Drive aggressive top-line sales and optimize RevPAR while managing operational costs to ensure profitability.
• Guest Experience: Cultivate a culture of exceptional service for both internal team members and external guests.
• Asset Management: Oversee the physical property with a long-term ownership mindset, ensuring it remains a premier destination in Lawrence.
• Team Building: Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing hospitality team.
• Compliance: Uphold all brand standards and KMG corporate policies with excellence.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven track record as a General Manager of a franchised hotel.
• Local Presence: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the greater Lawrence, KS area.
• Skillset: Exceptional financial acumen, a passion for sales, and a "people-first" leadership style.
