Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional physical therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans that help patients regain mobility and independence
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently to track outcomes
• Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies for continued recovery
• Make a meaningful difference every day in a supportive, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Maine (or willingness to obtain before start)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PT experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Passion for helping others and a positive, can-do attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in geriatric rehabilitation and functional mobility training
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Time management and organizational skills to handle a varied caseload
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient education skills
