As a Paramedic, you will provide emergency medical services and help communities become healthier. How you’ll contribute Respond to calls for emergency medical services and provide patient care as directed. Assist with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of a physician or nurse. Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect specimens. Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition and document patient care. Maintain equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintain examination areas. Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned. What we’re looking for Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment, rapid learning and navigation of multiple software systems, effective English communication (read/write/speak), ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire. Licenses: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-P) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) within 6 months of hire. Handle with Care certificate to be received within 30 days of orientation and kept annually. Schedule Per Diem (PRN).
