What Project Management does at Worldwide

Worldwide Clinical Trials Project management is the perfect blend of operational rigor and therapeutic expertise, with a client‑focused approach. Our Global Project Leads (GPLs) and Clinical Project Managers (CPMs) expertly guide our project teams to deliver with high quality, focusing on “doing it right the first time”.

The Project Management team is engaged in all aspects of the trial collaborating with scientific and therapeutic leadership, coordinating across project teams, and providing flexible, innovative and proactive solutions. At Worldwide, you will be dedicated to a specific therapeutic area which will not only give you an opportunity to develop in‑depth global operational expertise, but also benefit from exceptional scientific and medical background that our experts bring.

What you will do

• Works effectively across multiple divisions to direct the delivery of projects/programs within cost, time, and quality requirements
• Provide direct supervision, support, training, and mentoring to project managers
• Collaborate with Business Development team on proposals and bid defense
• May have immediate supervision of employees, prepares and may conduct performance appraisals and salary reviews, and applies company policies
• Works with leadership in all functional areas on the continuous development/improvement of business processes to support cross‑functional teams and to ensure that work is uniform, complete, and managed appropriately
• Serves as a liaison with Business Development and Bids/Contracts for the client presentations and proposal development
• Assists in resource utilization, policy development, and implementation of goals

What you will bring to the role

• Strong leadership skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Expert knowledge of project management principles and application
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and resource management
• Skilled in process improvement, especially as it applies to clinical trials, clinical development, and project management

Your experience

• University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (e.g., nursing certification, medical or laboratory technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical pharmaceutical industry experience including demonstrated skills and competency in clinical project management tasks
• In lieu of the above requirements, candidates with > five (5) years supervisory experience in a health care setting and eight (8) years clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industries will be considered
• Experience managing Rheumatology studies is required for this role.

At Worldwide Clinical Trials, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace by providing transparent compensation.The salary range for this position is annually (For hourly paid positions, the stated salary range reflects hourly rates):

United States of America - $153,095.00 - $303,905.00

The salary range provided is intended to give candidates an understanding of potential earnings. Compensation will fall within the provided range, and it not a guarantee of exact salary. The final salary will be determined based on relevant experience, performance, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive benefits package depending on location. We ensure pay equity and transparency and comply with all applicable labor laws. Salary information will be discussed during the interview process, and we encourage candidates to inquire about compensation at any stage.
