Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, TNCC Must-Have: Orthopedic experience Trauma orthopedic experience Description: This position requires expertise in orthopedic nursing. The unit features a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 to 1 in the operating room. Procedures performed include arthroscopies, total joints, and orthopedic trauma. The equipment utilized is primarily orthopedic. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requires flexibility with options for three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. There is an on-call requirement of six shifts within a four-week schedule. The work environment is recognized for having a family-like atmosphere and supportive management.
