Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract assignment at a healthcare facility. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide high-quality therapy services to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and maximize independence. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience while working with a collaborative rehabilitation team in a new healthcare setting. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility interventions Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize rehabilitation outcomes Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, mobility techniques, and safety strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued therapy services when appropriate Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and improving quality of life Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Required: Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new clinical environments Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care What We Offer Competitive weekly pay Comprehensive benefits package Housing and travel stipends Dedicated recruiter and clinical support throughout the assignment Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of healthcare settings Potential for assignment extensions and future travel opportunities Towne U.S. LLC Job ID 18912675.
