Lead IT DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Northern Cincinnati, OH (onsite)

You don't just build pipelines. You build systems that teams rely on. We're partnered with a large, established enterprise that's making a serious investment in modernizing how software gets built, secured, and delivered. This is not a "keep the lights on" DevOps role. It's a chance to take a fragmented, multi-platform environment and bring it into a single, disciplined, secure workflow.

What You'll Own

Drive platform consolidation
Bring source control and CI/CD into GitHub as the standard. Define branching strategy, governance, and the patterns that stick long after the migration is done.

Make Secure SDLC real
Embed security into every pipeline. SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secret detection, code scanning. Not just tools, but adoption across teams.

Build the platform
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Create automation in NodeJS and C#. Own the supporting DevOps infrastructure, registries, and cloud services.

Create the paved road
Develop templates, reusable components, and best practices so the secure path is the easy path. Jump in hands-on where needed to accelerate adoption.

Partner with engineering
Work directly with development teams to migrate repos, standardize workflows, and raise the bar across the board.

What You Bring

• 6+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering
• Experience consolidating or migrating CI/CD and source control platforms
• Strong hands-on skills in NodeJS and C# (Python is a plus)
• Deep experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
• Proven ability to integrate SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and secret detection into pipelines
• Experience with containers and a cloud platform (Azure preferred)
• Ability to influence developers and drive adoption, not just implement tooling

Nice to Have

• Experience migrating from Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or TFS into GitHub
• Familiarity with .NET and legacy environments
• Exposure to AI/ML pipeline security
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, etc.)
• Relevant certifications (AZ-400, GIAC, etc.)
