Our sites are currently located in Ohio and Kentucky, with plans to expand to additional cities. We’re not there yet, but it’s what we’re working toward with every hire and every person who walks through our doors.**Job Summary**The Students Worship Leader leads the overall music and worship experience for a site at Crossroads Students. This person is an exceptional vocalist, has a commanding, authentic presence on stage and exhibits an infectious excitement in worship. They also have technical musical skills and the ability to arrange music, create charts, tracks, samples and plays multiple instruments. Most importantly this person has an authentic relationship with Jesus that they are willing to share with those they are leading in worship.**Principal Duties and Responsibilities*** Serve as one of our primary worship leaders, instrumentalists and provide pastoral moments to Crossroads Students on the weekends.* Collaborate with the site team and production volunteers to produce a high quality, authentic worship experience each week* Recruit and shepherd volunteers to assist in weekend service execution* Network with site support and other campus counterparts in the production and creation of worship experiences**Education Requirements*** High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.**Experience/Skills Requirements*** Minimum 2 years experience creating and leading worship services for large congregations* Gifts and skills in leadership, exhortation, creative arts, collaboration and people development* Proven ability to manage multiple duties and priorities in deadline-intensive situations* Able to flourish in a creative team environment as well as operate independently* Experience building volunteer teams and leading them to excellent execution* Excellent interpersonal skills, both in technical and non-technical environments* Background in designing services and managing the details* Proficient in Planning Center Online and Multitracks* Performs effectively under pressure and against strict time constraints**Physical Requirements*** Must be able to walk up to 3 miles* Able to lift 25 lbs.**Scheduling/Travel Requirements*** Available to work evenings, weekends, and long hours**Crossroads Staff Qualities**Qualities all staff teammates should exhibit:* Mission Oriented: Committed to the Crossroads mission and expectations in the staff “I Promise” document, including using the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines, tithing, and pursuing personal purity.* Availability: Expected to work outside of “normal” schedule for All Hands on Deck high-impact events (Holy Week/Easter, Super Bowl, Christmas, others as needed), participate in all-staff meetings, day of solitude, offsites, etc.* Authenticity: Communicates clearly, directly, and honestly, even under stress, and does so with a sustained positive attitude and demeanor.* Personal Leadership: Envisions, energizes, and enables others to operate at full potential.* Collaborative Self-starter: Thrives as an individual contributor and works well on a team.* Proactive Problem Solver: Takes initiative to understand departmental objectives, adapts to changing and fluid environments, and proactively solves problems.* Humility: Puts others above self and takes ownership of mistakes.* Learner: Desires growth and learning from others.* Flexibility: Able to quickly shift between projects as organizational direction and needs change, able to successfully balance competing priorities.Crossroads Church is an equal opportunity employer.
