Potential to qualify for Company Match after 1-year.Position Overview: As a Banquet Cook, you will prepare and present delicious, high-quality dishes for events of all sizes—from appetizers and plated meals to buffet-style and catered functions. Working closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef, you will help execute event menus while maintaining high standards of food quality. You'll also collaborate with our banquet team to ensure meals are prepared and served on time, delivering an outstanding dining experience for every guest.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present high-quality dishes for banquet and catering events, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and adherence to menu specifications.Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team on menu planning and event execution, bringing creativity and adaptability to each event.Work closely with the banquet/catering service team to ensure efficient and timely food delivery for all events.Assist in inventory management and maintaining kitchen supplies as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, following all food safety and sanitation regulations, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.Set up, maintain, and break down kitchen stations, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards.Qualifications:Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume setting.Team-oriented with excellent time management skills.Strong communication skillsPhysical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.Preferred Qualifications:Culinary degree or equivalent certification.Experience working in a hotel or resort kitchen environment.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.If you're ready to bring your culinary skills to a dynamic, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you!
