Today, we are seeking a new member to join the fastest growing flavoring company in North America.The Watkins Company has an opening for a Full Time, Machine Operator, located in our Winona, MN location. The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:Summary/ObjectiveThe Accounting Assistant processes cash receipts, scans and files documents, sets up new vendors, prepares refunds, and provides assistance to the accounting staff when needed.Essential Responsibilities:Processes cash receipts applied on account, including applying payments to appropriate invoices and entering deductions.Performs accounts receivable collection functions by providing account balances or past due notifications, as required, through portals, phone, mail, or email.Processes A/R refunds, retail chargebacks, promotions and/or allowances by working with the Retail Sales team and/or Staff Accountant to understand and correct outstanding amounts.Scans retail, cost accounting, and other documents into accounting systems.Analyzes accounts receivable aging reports and provides feedback on customer balances.In addition to working in a strategic, dynamic and collaborative work environment, with a tight knit team, The Watkins Company offers a top notch benefits package including Medical, Dental, Life and AD&D Insurance as well as a generous PTO package available upon hire, 10 paid holidays and dollar for dollar 401k match!The Watkins Company is an equal opportunity employer.Education and Experience Requirements:Possess a High school diploma or GED.Minimum 6 months experience working or studying accounting principles.Demonstrates intermediate (or higher) proficiency in Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Possesses 10 key experience.Other Position Requirements:Full time – Monday – Friday -40 hours per week. Overtime may be required on an occasional basis.This position will not require travel.Adheres to practices outlined in the Company Food Safety Manual and report safety risks to personnel with authority to initiate action.Maintains legal compliance with local, state, and federal laws applicable to area of responsibilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Watkins Company
