Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant
Shift: 12hr Nights 7p-7a Varies
Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cell therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy treatments.
- Administer blood product transfusions and manage patient care in an inpatient isolation unit.
- Ensure safety and efficacy of transplant procedures while maintaining low nurse-to-patient ratios.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and provide necessary interventions as required.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and care processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Required: AHA BLS
- Preferred: ACLS, Chemo, NIHSS
- EMR: Cerner
