Experience leading group therapy preferred

All patients are 18 years old and up

Description: This position requires one year of experience in a psychiatric setting. Candidates must have experience in a locked unit. Skills in managing assaultive behavior, crisis intervention, and therapeutic communication are essential. Experience with diverse mental health diagnoses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression is required. Proficient use of electronic systems for patient monitoring during rounds. The focus is on providing 24-hour care for adults experiencing acute mental health crises. All techniques must comply with established safety protocols and procedures. There are no on-call or float requirements for this role. This role also emphasizes the importance of patient safety checks and awareness of medication side effects.
