Operations Specialist

We are a logistics and warehousing organization seeking a full-time Bilingual-Korean Operations Specialist to assist with Month End Closing & Operational Planning for our fast-growing warehouse.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:30pm

Location: Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308 (Must have the ability to commute within the neighboring facilities for meetings, events, etc.)

The Operations Specialist will ensure daily operations run smoothly by managing resources, and coordinating with various departments to achieve operational goals. Candidate will need to analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies, then implement and refine processes to improve productivity. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities for an Operations Specialist:

• Ensure all orders and shipments are delivered on time by working with both our warehouse and transportation team
• Work with Inventory specialist on current inventory levels and advise all departments on any issue
• Draft and submit reports on daily feeding orders, demand, and supply status
• Investigate any receiving, picking, or shipping errors
• Monitor and provide feedback for ETA on all Hot orde
• Escalate any returned non-conforming parts to management team
• Supervise all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out in a timely fashion
• Provide communications between Hyundai Glovis and Hyundai Production Control regarding pilot part introduction into assembly
• Makes recommendations to management on initiatives to improve operations
• Collaborate with Material Control to ensure production plans align with inventory capacity
• Ensure compliance with transportation, warehouse safety, and company policy
• Participate in annual year end inventory audits

Qualifications for an Operations Specialist:

• Excel Proficiency (Pivot tables, Vlookup/Xlook up, basic formulas)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and collaborate effectively
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Solid understanding of inbound and outbound processes
• Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and prioritization skills
• Prioritize and execute task in a fast past/high stress environment

The estimated base salary range for the Operations Specialist is $59,000-$62,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
