Staff Accountant - Financial Reporting

responsible for the reconciliation of general ledgers and responsible for financial reporting of Home State's various entities. Looking for local candidates, as this position doesn't have relocation available.
- Preparation of the consolidated monthly board report package.
- Prepare the quarterly qualified collateral report (QCR) and detail loan listing for submission to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago
- Responsible for daily and monthly account reconciliations as well as financial reporting for the Bank's Retail Mortgage Department.
- Prepare the monthly loan activity reports for the Retail Mortgage Department.
- Assist in the preparation of asset liability management reports for ALCO meetings.
- Perform the monthly updating and posting of mortgage serving rights.
- Assist with the annual budget process
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or associate's degree with equivalent experience
- Financial institution experience preferred
- Medical through BCBS - 3 PPO Plans and HMO
- Dental PPO through BCBS
- Vision insurance through BCBS
- $50,000 in Company Paid Life & ADD and long-term disability insurance
- 401k after 90 days with company match of 3% after a year
