Junior Laboratory Technician - Night Shift Location: Gretna, LA Schedule: Tue-Sat, overnight 8:00pm-4:30am OR Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat | 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM Base pay range $18.00/hr - $19.00/hr Position Overview We are seeking a Junior Laboratory Technician to support a high-volume scientific laboratory operation in Gretna, Louisiana. This role supports confirmatory testing activities and quality control processes within the First Reviewers department. Key Responsibilities Operate GC/MS and LC-MS/MS instrumentation for confirmatory testing Review and process non-negative test results in compliance with SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and other regulatory requirements Perform routine quality control (QC) activities Accurately document testing and review results per SOPs Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related scientific field Prior laboratory experience (academic or professional) Experience with instrumentation (GC/MS, LC-MS/MS preferred) or prior experience in a similar reviewer/lab technician role Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings/overnights Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulated procedures Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full-time Job Function Science Industries Medical Equipment Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr Equiliem
