Retail Engagement Specialist Job Type: Regular | Work Location: AMRET Market, Charlotte, NC | Schedule: Monday–Friday Overview: Join 2020 Companies and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. Compensation: $21 per hour plus a 10% monthly bonus opportunity. Requirements: Personal vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening. Responsibilities: Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. Day‑to‑Day: Field‑based position with daily travel within a designated territory, approximately 22–35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. Mix of in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up. Independent work style supported by leadership and training teams. Six (6) months of prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Reliable transportation within assigned territory. Performance Measurements: Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals. Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals. Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly. Effectively schedule store visits at least two weeks in advance. Effectively execute assigned activities during all visits. Effectively demonstrate ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement, and consistent productivity. Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit.
