A respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Director to lead our resident life and enrichment programs. Benefits of Activities Director Competitive salary Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within a healthcare organization Comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees The chance to make a lasting impact on residents and families every day Responsibilities of Activities Director Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily activity programs for residents in both short-term rehab and long-term care Develop creative recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities that meet residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs Create and maintain monthly activity calendars and special event programming Lead group activities, holiday celebrations, outings, and community engagement opportunities Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships with residents and families Complete activity assessments and maintain required documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Supervise activity staff and volunteers as needed Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, and other departments to support resident well-being Ensure activity supplies, equipment, and common areas are organized and well maintained Qualifications for Activities Director Previous experience in activities, recreation, or therapeutic programming in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to activities programming preferred Activity Director certification or eligibility preferred We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees. #J-18808-Ljbffr Healthcare Nursing and Rehab Center
