Chemical mixer

We are seeking a Chemical Mixer to support the safe and accurate preparation, mixing, and handling of chemical materials used in the manufacture of aerospace components. The Chemical Mixer will follow established formulas, work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements to ensure materials meet stringent aerospace manufacturing specifications.

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work with precision in a controlled manufacturing environment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance.

salary: $41,600 - $45,760 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials and chemical components according to approved formulas, batch records, and work instructions.
• Operate mixers, scales, pumps, agitators, and related chemical-processing equipment.
• Perform mixing, blending, and preparation of adhesives, resins, coatings, sealants, composites, or other production chemicals as required.
• Verify material identification, lot numbers, quantities, expiration dates, and required storage conditions before use.
• Monitor mixing parameters such as time, temperature, speed, viscosity, and other specified process requirements.
• Perform in-process inspections and basic quality checks to ensure materials meet established specifications.
• Record batch information, measurements, process parameters, material usage, and inspection results accurately and completely.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures for the handling, storage, transfer, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.
