Manufacturing Production Leader As a Manufacturing Production Leader, you will be a key driver in optimizing our production processes, ensuring efficiency and maximizing value for our customers. This leadership role involves overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Value Stream Management Take ownership of the entire manufacturing value stream, overseeing all processes from raw material acquisition to product delivery. Develop and implement strategies to optimize value stream efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall productivity. Continuous Improvement Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing value stream. Identify opportunities for waste reduction, process optimization, and cost savings. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to achieve operational excellence. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination within the value stream. Foster strong communication and collaboration to address challenges and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Performance Monitoring Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the value stream and regularly monitor and report on performance metrics. Implement data-driven decision-making processes to identify areas for improvement. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team within the value stream. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and individual growth. Provide coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities. Quality Assurance Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards. Implement and maintain quality control procedures within the value stream. Resource Optimization Manage resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands. Collaborate with procurement to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain. Strategic Planning Contribute to the development of long‑term manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Identify opportunities for capacity expansion and improvements in manufacturing technology. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field with 5+ years of experience. Proven experience in a leadership role within manufacturing, with a focus on value stream management. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve operational excellence. Abilities Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time. Sitting for extended periods of time. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
