Job Purpose

The Commodity Sourcing Specialist - Metallic is an individual contributor role that collaborates with suppliers for assigned items, supplies, and/or materials for assigned group or platform. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sourcing strategies, overseeing supplier selection, leading contract negotiations, analyzing price trends, ensuring quality assurance, managing supplier relationships, and exploring cost improvement ideas.

Experience Required

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering preferred). A minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience. This role requires a deep understanding of casting processes, materials, and market trends to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of casting market regionally and globally. With experience in purchasing casting, the candidate should be capable of performing techno-commercial analysis of casted parts, tooling cost and methodologies to be used. The candidate should be able to provide support with his expertise on casting processes, within the company to other buyers across the commodity team.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is $87,000 - $133,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
